I Love Rock 'n' Roll es una canción de la cantante estadounidense Britney Spears. Fue lanzado el 27 de mayo de 2002 a través de Jive Records como el cuarto sencillo de su tercer álbum de estudio, Britney. La canción se usó en su película Crossroads de 2002. El personaje de Spears, Lucy, lo interpreta en un bar de karaoke. Es un cover de la canción de Arrows del mismo nombre.
Antecedentes[]
Spears dijo algo sobre la canción: "Me pidieron que cantara en el karaoke en la película Crossroads y de hecho he cantado I Love Rock 'n' Roll en muchos clubes en los que he estado". Spears ha admitido públicamente que la canción original es una de sus favoritas. Spears escuchó la versión original de Arrows, producida por Mickie Most, justo antes de grabar la canción, según su hombre de Jive A&R, Steve Lunt. Los scratches realizados en esta canción fueron realizados por Corey Chase, en Hit Factory Miami. Cuando promocionó el lanzamiento del sencillo, atribuyó la versión exitosa de la canción a Pat Benatar en lugar de a Jett, aunque afirma que fue un comentario sarcasmo en lugar de un error. La canción es una canción pop rock y dance-pop.
