(I Got That) Boom Boom es una canción de la cantante y compositora estadounidense Britney Spears. Fue lanzada el 12 de noviembre de 2003 a través de Jive Records como la segunda pista de su cuarto álbum de estudio, In the Zone.
La canción presenta voces adicionales de los raperos Ying Yang Twins y estaba destinada a ser lanzada como sencillo.
Antecedentes[]
La canción es una colaboración con el dúo de hip-hop sureño Ying Yang Twins, que en ese momento eran conocidos por sencillos como "Whistle While You Twurk" y "Say I Yi Yi". Spears los solicitó basándose en su sencillo "Naggin'" y la voz en "Get Low" de Lil Jon.
Aunque se grabó antes, se confirmó en septiembre de 2003. El mánager del grupo dijo: "La canción que hicieron no está fuera de lo que ella hace ni de lo que ellos hacen. Solo los quería en el corte porque quería ese elemento hip-hop".
Es una de las muchas canciones de Spears con influencia del hip-hop, que a menudo mencionó que quería incorporar en su música. Sencillo[]
Fue considerado como el sencillo líder junto con "Outrageous", pero Spears luego decidió lanzar "Me Against the Music". Inicialmente se confirmó como el segundo sencillo y los fanáticos lo escucharon en varias estaciones de radio con "Outrageous". Spears quería que fuera el segundo sencillo, aunque más tarde decidió lanzar "Toxic". Luego fue pensado como el tercer sencillo y se usaría para promocionar la película de comedia "White Chicks", donde se usó en una escena de club.

Remix[]
Un remix oficial conocido como Collipark Remix o Collipark Radio Mix fue producido por el productor de hip-hop sureño Mr. Collipark. Tiene un instrumental basado en guitarra que muestra el sencillo "In Da Wind" de Trick Daddy y presenta nuevas voces de los Ying Yang Twins diciendo "go girl".
Los fanáticos lo escucharon por primera vez en varias estaciones de radio a principios de 2004, pero no se filtró hasta varios meses después. Fue pensado como una versión de radio alternativa que se lanzaría junto con la versión original. El remix se incluyó más tarde en la lista de canciones inicial del álbum “U.S.A. Se realizó en CD: UK, Top of the Pops, SBS en Corea y otro espectáculo en Seúl, Corea. También se realizó en TRL de MTV y en el especial "In the Zone" de ABC con los Ying Yang Twins, y estaba destinado a presentarse en Saturday Night Live. En 2020, se lanzaron varios videos de ensayo.
Se realizó en The Onyx Hotel Tour con un tema de Mardi Gras, con imágenes publicadas de los especiales de Showtime y Rock in Rio. Más tarde estuvo en la lista de canciones para su espectáculo planeado en Las Vegas, Domination (2019), que iba a tener un tema de hip-hop.
